When I Lace Up vs. When I Skip The Corset

I get asked if I wear my corset 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My answer is: HELL NO. Typically, I will wear my corset during the evening start from around 3:00 PM and I will not take it off until the following day around 11:00 AM. That’s 20 hours of being in a corset. But that’s not everyday.

Some days I will not wear my corset at all during the day, and only put it on during the evening when I’m getting ready for bed. When that happens, I’m usually in a corset for 10-11 hours, depending on when I start getting ready for bed.

Wearing my corset to bed is very easy for me and I’ve made it part of my nighttime routine. If I do not have my corset on while I’m sleeping, it’s because I have a migraine and I cannot be bothered. That’s usually the ONLY time I won’t wear my corset to bed.

At the moment, the part of my routine that I’m “struggling” with is wearing my corset during the day. I say struggling in quotation marks because it’s ridiculous, in my opinion. I am simply CHOOSING not to put on my corset during the day because I’m either too lazy to put it on when I get home from the gym and out of the shower, or because I get out of the shower, get ready, go downstairs, and simply forgot to lace up and then when I remember, I’m too lazy to go back upstairs and put it on. Like I said, ridiculous. I’m not perfect; I don’t wear my corset all the time like it might depict on my YouTube channel. Uh-oh you caught me! 😉

Anyways, let’s move on to the activities in which I DO wear my corset, and the activities in which I DO NOT wear my corset.

DO WEAR:

  • running errands: grocery shopping, library
  • leisure activities: watching tv, reading, doom scrolling
  • light house chores: laundry, tidying up, putting groceries away, organizing
  • sleeping (as mentioned above)
  • eating: lunch, dinner, snacks
  • cooking/ meal prepping

DO NOT WEAR:

  • eating breakfast (because it’s right before the gym)
  • working out, including weight lifting, pilates, yoga, and stretching
  • any cardio, including walking on the treadmill or outside (park, hikes)
  • driving for long distances
  • on an airplane
  • migraine, headache, neck ache, or any torso/ upper body pain
  • first day of my period, usually
  • editing videos (because I do it on my phone and have to look down which strains my neck)
  • pooping
  • during intimacy
  • cleaning the house: vacuuming, yard work, or any chore that requires abrupt movements and bending up and down often

I hope this gave you a better idea/ understanding of why I do not wear my corset during some tasks, and answered when I actually do wear my corset.

Until next time,

XO, Sin
